One of the Forums should be Events, and Subforums by region, or barony/kingdom.

Many possibilities for forums.

How about Youth activities! Keeping the next generation of Scadians interested & occupied is a big deal for me & my children, also, i think of how much fun i had as a 7 year old & its a big part of the reason I still work and play in the SCA at the age of 35, Im a 3rd generation & my kids get sooo bored im afraid their wont be a 4th.

Feastocratting would make a good sub-category of Autocratting.

The events tab makes sense. I was thinking of examples. That was the only one that came out of my head.

One thing that I see commonly in the "Other Topics" section of other SCA-related forums is questions asking for heraldic help or translation help (most often Latin, but sometimes Old French or Italian).

It might be easier to connect those looking for help with those willing to help (heralds and/or linguists - there's a big overlap!) if there was a dedicated subforum for either or both or collected with other similar requests for help/education/knowledge.

The recently posted Intro Guide thread contained several IKA (InterKingdom Anthropology or differences in Tradition(tm) between Kingdoms) statements.

This reminded me that IKA is a favourite topic on Known Worldwide websites such as this one, and may deserve its own subforum.

Scribal forums would be nice. And most definitely fencing forms.

I second this! The suggestion about Events, I mean. I don't mean to take over the Events application, but it would be nice to simply be able to list what events you're going to without having to "own" the event. For example, I'm going to Coronation in a week, but it's not listed... how do I tell all of you that I'll be there in case you'll be there too? It would be cool to arrange to meet people that we meet here and a forum for "when I'm going where" or maybe a application like that would be nice.
