due to a rather excessive string of misfortunes, including  divorce due to spousal infidelity, job loss etc.. myself and my  2 daughters (2 and 4) face eviction from our apartment in the next few days. the power has been off since the 22nd of november.   Well, since my first blog I have learned the craft of naalbinding.  I find it extremely easy but this is likely due to the fact that I've been crocheting for most of my life.  The basics of some of my crocheting patterns are even transferable into naalbinding with a minimum of alterations.  I still have issues with sizing though.  I find it hard to make a pair of something to be exactly the same size.  To fix this problem I make the two items at the same...

I understand many of our blogs are also to be about our experiences within the SCA, and for me this has been a mixed, jumbled bag.
