So I finally got around to researching a name for my SCA persona.  I had to decide what kind of garb I was wanting to wear and what kind of names I liked before deciding which region to select my name from.

At first I was thinking English, but to be honest I found most of the names were too boring for me.  I liked a lot of the French names but I accepted the fact that I did not want to be from France (I'll just leave it at that).  Next I was thinking maybe Scottish or Irish, but I've never been fond of tartans/plaid prints on a dress so I decided to go with an Italian name for now.

Drum roll please......ahem, my SCA name will be Nicolosa del Dolce.  What do you think?
