I am sewing a costume for a man who lives on the other side of the country. Sewing enthusiasts will understand when I say that it is incredibly difficult to fit garb to a person who is not present. Skirts aren't too bad, and men's shirts pose little difficult, but tights are an absolute pain! 

I'd love some advice here. How can I fit tight pants or tights to a man who isn't here? Besides finding someone who has the same measurements to be a body double, is there a trick to it?
