Well I must admit, it has been some time since I last wrote. Between moving into a new apartment, creating scrolls, working, and now embroidery, scroll cases and all the tidbits one must do during the day, you run out of time quickly! The greatest news of the past months was that I have recieved my AoA, making me a Lady!

Well it is the end of march, and we are already beginning to have April showers. Its nice to have cooler weather, even though I am used to the nice warm by now. Unfortunately on the knitting front I didn't get my socks done for Ice Dragon. I'll have to enter them next year with hopefully other pieces which will be better I think. I am also hoping to enter my wedding dress into ice dragon with the proper documentation, although I think that might be harder to accomplish, but we shall...

2012 is going to be a big year for me. I start my new job on Jan. 3, and Jehan starts his new job on on the 9th. We also will be looking and moving into a new apartment, which I will be quite happy about. Sunday was Christmas, and it was the most interesting day for me. After spending the day with my parents, I returned back to Jehans parents to find 2 dogs greeting me at the door, and the tree looking like it threw up multicolored presents. The best thing about this tree was at the end of the day, 4 full grown adults attacked the tree to collect all the candy we could (it ended up to be quite the fight, lol). My future mother-in-law took great pity on me, as she watched me sew the same...

Since I know that I won't be on tomorrow, I just wanted to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. This is a time to be thankful for what you have, for your friends and for your family. I will be working, due to black Friday sales starting at 10pm. Christmas is only 50 days away. Since I'm going to be making many of the presents that we give this year, thats not very long for me to work my magic. I have a lot to do including making two snoods for my sister-in-law, making a NY Yankees yamachka and fingerless gloves for my sister. sadly, that means all my other projects have to sit off to the side, but that won't be for too long. Next year, I think I will make this a year long project so that I don't procrastinate like I normally...
